I’m trying lot of new things all the time for both client work and my personal projects so I thought it might be helpful to share some tech tips with you too as I go along. This one is about converting video to audio format and that was even easier I could imagine!
When I got the idea for the What makes you spark article, I knew I wanted to try out audio format. I’m intrigued to try out a real podcast too in the future so this was kinda small, mini test for audio format use in general.
I have never done audio before and that’s why I ended up recording a video with my phone instead. It went well but then I needed to separate the audio track from the actual video. Fortunately that’s easier than it sounds and I found this easy to use online converter to convert the audio to video format.
Mainly when I work I use professional softwares like Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Premiere but recently I have been exploring some different and lighter ways to produce the content I share in different channels and formats. That’s why I wanted to record the audio file (or a video in this case) straight with my phone.
The online audio converter I’m talking about can be found from here.
Pick the format you prefer (mp3 being the most used one)
Click Convert
Download your audio file
Done!
So easy!
