Neverending

By Aino on January 30, 2020

What a MAD month it has been! And it’s still not even over! Whoah!

I started this month and the decade with maniac insomnia, worked my ass off in a constant flow of creativity and got back to client work in a full swing. After the survival mode of December, the start of the decade felt so good and productive. I did more than I could’ve even imagined.

My creative agency Last Tuesday is working on several huge website renovations, we are preparing the first issue of SKY-kosmetologi magazine (112 pages!), I launched the first-ever brand ambassador program for Aura notebooks (it’s called auracult so it basically makes me a cult leader ?), designed few new products to Aura collection (stay tuned, these beauties will see the daylight soon!), opened my fresh, new Patreon page and wrote a letter for myself.

Hello from the past you
Stop whining and start writing

I kicked off our new kind of retail management system, wrote and published eight blog articles, have been negotiating about very special collaboration with a designer I awe so much, read four and a half books, designed a sixpack of logos for a client, challenged myself both to participate on the #boldasthecollective social media challenge prompt of ever-amazing @thisisbold_as @inthecollective and @thedelicaterebellion (fallen a bit off the wagon last week though) and to write a text per day in English. (Only two days skipped so far, yay!)

To make it less boring, my right hand aka my trusted partner in code crimes is hiking in the mountains in the other side of the world, so I’ve been forced to learn SO much about A-records, SMTP servers, SPF lists, DNS management, MFA, FQDN, PHP and other abbreviations that I didn’t even know existed that my brains have a serious boiling.

We also expanded our family with a small ball of fur called Sylvi, my morning pages are still going strong, I’ve been testing a dairy-free diet, bought a Wacom tablet and all the daily, more mundane tasks are also more or less taken care of. (Well there could be a bit more vacuum cleaning at home but who cares!)

On the other hand (or WITH the other hand ?) I also created two new killer pieces of total pitch-black greetings cards with foil and white print. I give you my heart and The moon made me do it both Available for preorder NOW!

So yes, pure madness and it’s still not yet even over! I will use these last days to finish the logo pack, establish the negotiated collaboration, to finish the magazine layout, to send the greeting cards to printing company, to submit a pitch to Delicate Rebellion Magazines Call for submissions, to keep up the atmosphere in the aura cult, drink lots of coffee and matcha and hopefully to sleep a bit too.

How’s your January?

    Matcha latte love
