Learning new skills and developing and discovering yourself is mainly privately done hard work but sometimes it helps to find some spark and inspiration from someone else too. I have taken several different workshops and courses during this year and last one and I think those might inspire you too.
Besides continuosly learning, reading articles, books and different resources and trying out several methods and routines I have been drawn to different kind of workshops and courses recently. Having like-minded people around gets you in new tracks so much faster and sharing the experience with other people gives a priceless insights you can’t find just on your own.
Online workshop on Instagram
I’m also always curious to see how different people or organisations prepare and produce the courses and workshops, there are so many ways to do it! One of the recent ones got my attention especially for that reason as it was a online course built on Instagram. What a fresh way to approach this area!
The course was called Client Magnet Course and it was presented and designed by very interesting, Amsterdam based sustainable design agency and collective called Collective Minds. I really enjoyed the fresh, light and easily approachable way to build the online course on Instagram by using a private account, stories and feed. Of course making that kind of combination happen isn’t really that easy as it looked but the end result was absolutely beautiful, inspiring and fun to digest.
Finding yourself and new ways to think
It immediately started to expand to several ideas on how to make lot of things more efficient and easily accessible. Many of the online workshop pr webinar platforms are quite stagnant to use and I’m really fascinated by the idea of using lighter and faster tools I already have in new and innovative ways.
The course itself was about finding your ideal client, ikigai, right mindset and your why. If that resonates with you, check it out in more detail from here. If they do this again, I highly recommend to join!
I really liked the course and even some of the ideas and methods presented I was already familiar with, there’s always something more to learn or try out.
Always take notes
Unfortunately I couldn’t do the whole course in time so I missed the live calls but as the resources and the material were still available afterwards, so I was able to finish on my on pace later. I also took a lot of notes and wrote all the daily challenges down in bullet journal (yes, Aura!) so I can get back to the ideas I got during actually doing the exercises. Highly recommend that method too by the way. Always take notes!
Changing your mindset and focusing on why you do what you do was enlightening and one of the ideas I got during the course is that now I’m wondering if could I also make a some kind of workshop or a online course too. 😀 So well done Collective Minds, well done!
Workshops and courses I have participated recently
Some of the other courses I have done recently include for example an amazing Creative Retreat and Workshop by James Victore in Texas on last November and exhaustingly life-changing AltMBA by Seth Godin on March this year. The most recent one I participate is Creativity and Permisson by Marlee Grace and it started on Monday so not much yet to tell but I’m super excited to see where this leads me!
Would you like to hear more? I would love to share some of my experiences regarding each of these, which ones would you like to hear more about first?
Have you taken some affective or inspiring courses lately? Any recommendations?
I’ve spent so many hours on social media both for fun and for work. There have also been those moments when I felt like trapped inside my phone trying to manage several accounts 24/7 without a proper plan or efficient workflow. That’s how Social Media Mondays got started. To make it more efficient, I started …
I used to hate that time of the month. The whole world seemed to crash down on me and the pain was horrible. Both physically and mentally. But this time I’m prepared!
Find your creativity, gain more focus and just easily manipulate your brain (and ears) to function in specific ways? Besides just doing the work (which I highly recommend, stop procrastinating now!) there are several tools you can use to make it more efficient. My recent experiments have been with binaural beats.
